Tcell together with American Space Khujand and NGO “Office of Civil Freedoms” held a debate tournament “Tcell Debate Time” for the youth of Khujand, students of educational and language centers that are corporate clients of the company. Students discussed the topic “Technology and Society” in English.
Eight teams from language and educational centers “Arkon”, “Be Smart”, “Sirius”, “William Shakespeare”, “American Corner”, “Dono” from Khujand, as well as “Chakhonro Biomuz” and “London” from Istaravshan, took part in the “Tcell Debate Time” tournament dedicated to the Day of National Unity.
All teams were well prepared and showed themselves perfectly. The themes of the past debate rounds are extremely relevant for today’s youth. The students debated, defended or refuted theses on the development of technologies and their impact on society, artificial intelligence, copyright in the digital world, popularization of science and education using technologies, accessibility and proper use of modern innovations.
Winners of the tournament received valuable prizes, certificates and cups from Tcell. Each of the participants of the team that took the top place received as a gift from Tcell gadgets and Internet traffic, which is necessary for students for further education, to obtain new knowledge and experience.
In addition to Tcell representatives and corporate clients of the company, Jeff Reidenauer, Head of the Information Department at the US Embassy in Tajikistan, took part in the award ceremony.
Tcell representatives told the participants, representatives of corporate clients and guests of the tournament about the new corporate style of the company, about the new vision and plans – to develop innovative communication technologies in the country, which will introduce Tajikistan to the global platform of successful innovative solutions.
The tournament participants thanked the company’s management and expressed their desire to continue to participate in such events and to assist in their organization.
